Hey GoodOmens,
on 10/28 you responded to a post from msc0tt for assistance with automating the "File|Save as..." functionality in Outlook 2000.
I too, have been trying to do something like msc0tt but with Outlook Xpress 5 - to no avail. I even placed a post with the title "Launching Outlook xpress and saving e-mail as .txt file" a little over a week ago and didn't even get one response.
I'm basically trying to programatically launch Outlook express using vba with Word 97 or Excel 97. The program is supposed to look for a message with a specific subject and if found, save it to one of my folders as a .txt file
I was going over your code and it seems perfect for what I want to do. However, I can't get it to work with Outlook express 5. I'm new to vb and vba and don't know all the methods, properties, objects or libraries as of yet.
Do you have a similar code that will work with outlook express 5? Thanks for the help. Peace!
