Can anyone recommend a good Access training class for a savvy Access user w/ no programming skills? The class should teach programming & VBA basics to allow the individual to develop more custom applications.

Thanks!

Actually, your local Community College should offer it. Or, take a beginning VB class there. Since VBA is a subset of VB, you'll learn all the basics of programming in an object oriented enviroment (OK, not TRUE OOD) such as Objects, Properties and Methods. Then, all you have to do is study the object model for Access VBA.

Browse the on line help in Access. Study the code examples. Press F2 when you're in a code window and study all the different objects. Install the sample databases and open evrything up in design view. Change a few things. Mess it up :) That's how a lot of us learned.

Welcome. And may your journey be challenging and rewarding.
