Good VB.Net book

Can anyone recommend me a good book for VB.Net? I have worked on VB6 but .NET is so different. Need a head start :)

I use 'Programming Microsoft Visual Basic .NET' - over 1500 pages - by Francesco Balena - between $40 and $60 at various book shops.

There are 2 CDs included. 'VBNET demo files (used in the book tutorials and examples)' and Programming Visual Basic 6 (also by Francesco Balena). This installable online book is heavily referenced to from the hard copy VBNET book.

The VB6 online book will probably become your best friend.

Getting 2 very good books at about $50 is not too bad.

We've got nearly a dozen books on .Net. But the one that gets the most mileage is "Programming Microsoft Visual Basic .Net (Core Reference)" ISBN 0-7356-1375-3

Thus, I agree with Dimandja. It's one you should definitely have.
