Does anyone know of a good crystal course or CBT for a single user? She would like to learn more of Crystal on her own time and money.

Thanks
Dwight

What skill level does she have?
How far does she want to go?
Does she want an instructor available for explanations/guidance or just to work on her own?

For instance, I don't usually sell my course materials to individuals, but I give them to my "remote" students when I do training over the phone.

There are 2 CBT CDs that I have seen (Seagate's and 1 other that is re-sold under different labels. But, I was pretty disappointed with both of them. They might work for certain people. Ken Hamady

She is a beginner and likes to learn new technology. Her main role is an accounting manager.

I think she would like to get a good understanding of crystal and be more proficient. She is doing this for fun.

She is open to instructor led or self-pace.

I have heard the same about the CBTs.

Thanks
Dwight

If she is spending her own time/money, the cheapest option for beginners would be the Dummies book. It will either inspire her to learn more (and Ken is well equipped to help in this area), or at least make her familiar enough with the product to specify reports effectively.
It is a good tool for any accounting department to have skills with - all that repetitive, period end stuff usually done in Excel can be streamlined. Malcolm

She does have the Complete Reference Guide for Crystal 7.

Would the dummies book help or not?

If she wants to talk about remote training and how it works, have her visit my site or give me a call. It will save her time getting started.

The Complete Reference is great for advanced, but abbreviated on the basics. It is there, but condensed. If she can get through the beginning of the complete reference on her own, she won't need the dummies book.
