good SEO read?

Does anyone have any links to good reads, either in book form or the likes of blogs/sites etc?

I did get a copy of Ben Norman's "Getting noticed on Google" book which I found to be a good start however after a conversation with a friend he disagreed with half the stuff Ben was saying. This acquaintance has spent a few months more than me looking into SEO but I have to say that some of the stuff hes saying to do doesnt seem to make sense.

Im sure theres loads of differing views but I would like to start reading more stuff to hopefully both back up the basics in Bens book and move me onto the next stage.
