Hey,

Is setting a TGAR of 1 and limiting the NCOS all the security required within the PBX?

both settings have to do with outbound toll fraud more then security, tgar of 1 blocks you off of routes with a targ of 1.. nothing more... ncos is local defined and is as secure as your software is, with one misplaced keystroke, ncos is totally open for all users. are you concerened with toll fraud from inside or from outside? make sure that all sets are ctd in class and cfxd in class, conditionaly toll denied and call forward external are toll busters, try forwarding a phone to 9 then call it, if your open, you'll get outside dial tone for an answer. go to a local only display set, dial any number (9+), put it on hold and pick it back up.. the number in your display, hang up and dial that number, if you get dial tone, you just bypassed all switch toll blocking..
