Hello!

Ok, PS4 on W2k3 SP1

Publish a desktop-

User has to access a website that shows data on a new window in IE (when clicked). User gets to website, clicks the link that generates the 'new window' and time card should show in a pdf- This works as an ADMIN but NOT as a reg user!!!!! The new window pops up but "Page cannot be displayed" error... As an Admin, this works just fine and dandy!!!

Obviously this is sounds like a policy... I have searched and searched for this setting but can't find it anywhere in AD.

Anyone have any ideas?????

Many thanks!!

Brandon,
We ran into this problem building our Metaframe XP farm a while back. An administrator can launch a PDF in a browser, but a user receives either a red X or page cannot be displayed. The problem was the initial install of Acrobat....I forgot to do a change user /install or go through Add/Remove programs. For whatever reason, when users were launching a PDF in the browser, they were trying to access files in the admin profile. A reinstall of Acrobat using the change user /install switch fixed the problem. Have you tried running systernal's filemon/regmon for access denied messages?

Thanks mjbianco-

I actually fixed this... I was just troubleshooting it when I went to (in IE) TOOLS \ Internet Options \ Advanced Tab \ and the clicked the "Reset Defaults" at the bottom.

This fixed everyone... for whatever reason, user's settings were not set right. I think I need to check out the policy for this in my PS4 OU.

Thanks for the reply!
