Good Free E-Mail Program

Any recommendations for a good free e-mail program.
I am tired of outlook and outlook express.

It might help by saying what you're tired of. You're not giving any kind of relevant info.

What are you connecting to? Exchange? POP3? IMAP?

I am connected to my e-mail accounts using POP3.
I keep having problems with outlook and outlook express. Fix one problem and a few weeks or months another problem.

For an open source alternative, have a look at Thunderbird, but whatever "problems" you're having might not be solved by a third mail client.

i second Thunderbird. switched to it 6 months ago and will never go back to OE or Outlook.

I still use my trusted Eudora. Have never had any problems with it whatsoever. And yes my second choice is Thunderbird. I do use both by the way ...as well as Foxmail which isn't too bad either.
