I am new to ASP. We have a small site for internal only that they want to use IIS and ASP on as a trial of how it well it does things.

I have done Perl, Java, C, etc. and have done Web Programming for 5 years. Might not be an "expert" but I know my way around.

So I am looking for a book that talks about ASP and how to use it, but skips the basic Web and programming talk. A book somebody has here spend 5 pages talking about what a loop is. I know that, just need the ASP specifics.

Any suggestions?

thanks for any help,

tim

You can use VBScript or JScript to control ASP. If you know them, you pretty much know ASP.

If you're already familiar with programming, you could try a quick reference source like Sams teach yourself Active Server Pages in 24 hours. Or some wrox books. I don't think they'll go into detail about how to do minor web programming stuff, but should stick to the stuff you need.

Hope this helps. -Ovatvvon :-Q
