Can anyone give me an idea of what book I should purchase that will give me not only the basics of CR's 7.0 but also some more intermediate and advanced info.
I am not a programmer by any means so something that spells it out for you.;

Thanks
Peter

Crystal Reports V7 - The complete reference" by George Peck. You may have trouble finding this book since V7 is kind of dated, so you may have to buy the V8.5 book.

This is the best book I have seen out there for someone trying to write reports. It comes with a CD with formula examples, sample reports, etc.

This is not a great book for a VB programmer trying to use various methods of integrating Crystal Reports and VB. In fact I don't think that book has been written yet. You might check out Ken Hamady's quickstart guide to using Crystal Reports and VB if you are interested in this.
