Anyone can give me suggestions on some good call recording software that won't break me? We are looking to replace our current system with an Avaya IP system (not IP Office, but the product series above it) in a couple of months. The vendor we are talking to recommended one brand and I got sticker shock when the pricing came in at almost as much as the new phone system.

I'm looking for basically something like TiVo is for TV. Something where you can press a button and record the call from the begining of the conversation to being able to record back from the begining of the conversation even if the button is pressed a few minutes into the converation... again like TiVo and the way it caches what your currently watching.

I'm ok with a couple of thousand, but tens of thousands is just too much right now.

Depending on how many t1's you'll have, Trisys gets the job done with a little less functionality but way cheaper. 100% of calls are recorded and no cti needed which is what gets expensive in an Avaya Comm Mgr enviornment. It uses cdr to index the calls (free interface) versus a cti interface requiring aes server, licenses, etc, etc.....
