I'd appreciate your suggestions for both mail and web site apps aside from Joomla.

We are moving to a dedicated server with no user interface from something pretty useless with one, and I want to use the easy download at the old one to get anything we may need before I wave goodbye. Joomla we have. We are using squirrel right now.)

Our admin has a few but said to ask you lot for suggestions.

If I could have sex each time I reboot my server, I would definitely prefer Windoz over Linux!

So would I, just because I am comfortable with it, but it's not an option.
We have a related tech (whose main line is IT security) setting this up for us, and he is setting the parameters, which is linux. I will check out the apps.

why wtf?

I think I understand what you're asking, but it's a little odd.

My answer is that there aren't likely to be any free apps on your hosting service that you can't get from the source, so don't worry about it. If that were the case, there would almost certainly be licensing restrictions on you downloading them and using them elsewhere.

Point well taken. Thanks. Got squirrel and Joomla.
I was thinking more along the lines that they are all in one place, but rethinking it, I think my plate is pretty full right now with squirrel and Joomla, anyway.

I am still paid up with the old plan for a year, so if there were something spectacular I wouldn't feel guilty (and after at least a month receiving no mail, even less)

I honestly did not understand your post, that's why "wtf".
I am not sure I do now either.

Surreal reading on a Friday afternoon, for sure. However, it isn't always clear what is a sig and what isn't unless it's differentiated in some way.

I want to be good, is that not enough?
