Hoping somebody can help, I am not an expert.
I have a virtual server and has sendmail installed on it. I have two application scripts (classified ads and mambo) installed on it. Both these apps use sendmail to communicate.) The problem is, users can sendmail no problem using both apps, however when the recipient views the mail, depending on the email client, they may get the mail as it should be or the may get gobbledegook. If I look at the server I can see the email ok and it is in 'normal' text, if somebody uses some email clients i.e. Thunderbird, or some webmail access all they see is gobbledegook. Some clients display it correctly. I am assuming it is some kind of config issue with sendmail, around mime type or something.

Does anybody have a clue at all. If somebody want to try it out please go to and click the 'tell a friend' button at the top and send an email to themselves. you may or may not see the problem, depending on which client you use.

Thanks
Bob
