Goldmine tree 1

I'm wondering if there is a reason when I install goldmine on to my server why it drops files into 2 different places in my c drive instead of one tree? can anyone help me understand why this is ? everytime I try to sign on it is making me re-registrar everytime? also if anyone can walk through putting golmine on individual desktops
without the cd right from my server?

Rule One of GoldMine:

Do not install goldmine from the CD

Install GoldMine from gm6setup.exe, which on the CD, but copy it to the server first, and install it to c:\apps\goldmine

Put the share on 'apps' and then drag a shortcut to the work stations
