Goldmine not returning diary events

On one machine, a user creates diary actions, scheduled calls etc but the alarms don't work and the diary does not even show the event.

Same user logs onto different machine and everything can be seen.

It's using shared BDE so can't be a setting in there(or so i thought). Alarms etc are turned on for the user in their preferences.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry, should have said - SQL and using v6.0

OK, if you go into BDE Administrator and under the configuration tab you have system>formats>date on the right the MODE should be set to 0.
