Goldmine give an error message when trying to open Word 97 by doing mail merge or something of that type.
The error message is something like: 'Cannot locate registry entry Word.Document.6\shell\open'
No, the registry entry is not there. That's why it can't find it. However, I'd rather not go creating an entry without knowing what to put in it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Word.
If Word is open in the background and I try to do a mail merge, there is no problem. However, if I want to use an automated process, it gives an error whether Word is open or not. That's the reason I need to fix it; to be able to use AP's.
