Goldmine Install

I just installed goldmine for a networked version on my windows 2003 member server. When the installtion fininsed i filled out all the details and when i opened the program there is no database. I installed the UK Blank Database from the choices. Can you tell me where i went wrong.



I have goldmine running on an xp machine currently can i just copy the old database into the new installation. If so what is the file called and where is it located.

There is no database to open that i can open.

Look for a CONTACT1.DBF in your GoldMine folder (it'll be in a sub-folder, if present.) And then under File|Open, right-click and use the ATTACH functionality and browse to the location where you found the Contact1.DBF. If you can't find this file, the sample database was not installed, go back to the beginning and try to re-install. If it continues to fail, try contacting FrontRange support directly.. They should be able to help out on an installation problem without charge.
