We are running an older version of Goldmine, and we have a report called an Activity Report that essentially prints out all of the information for the selected customer. We recently upgrade our server. All workstations except one can successfully run the activity report.

On one workstation, we get this error:
The library "pdbbde.dll" cannot be found.

The top of the message box containing the error says:
Seagate Crystal Reports Database Error

I haven't dived into this report yet to see what's going on, because it's running every where else.

I did search two other workstations where it runs just fine plus the server; I cannot find the pdbbde.dll file on any of them. So I suspect this error message doesn't really mean what it says?

Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

We use goldmine with Crystal all the time. I wonder if the path to your goldmine data is different on that comptuer.

Howard,

Would you think this path is stored in the registry? If not, where? Thanks!

What I mean is the path to the place where your goldmine tables are located. For example, in my office we map the letter G to \\SERV1\APPS\GOLDMINE\CUST
All the goldmine *.dbf files are are the CUST folder.

If we mapped the letter G to some other folder or removed the map to the letter G entirely, our Crystal reports would not work.

Great idea, but the mapping is the same on the workstation that works and on the workstation that doesn't. They are actually running the report from the same location on the server.

I don't know what else to try :(
