I'm currently trying to design a report able to show contact information from Contact 1 & 2 tables and the relevant notes for each contact from the Conthist table. The aim it to produce a single sheet for each contact deplaying certain fields - their activities - and their notes.

I have this working with the activity data being show in the main detail but can't find a way to sort this section independantly of the main report sorting / grouping ?!?!

Any ideas ???

Hi

The easiest thing would be to create a sub-report for just the Conthist, and us the C1.Accountno in the main report to link to the CH.Accounto in the sub report

Group by Accountno
conditional Suppress details b based on group name

In Crystal, in the design mode there is a feature called New Page after. In the X formula you should be able to put a formula that forces the next item to the next page and so on. Hope this will help you.

Ok, Im sorry i was not direct. In Crystal, in the Design Mode where the Details Section lies with all your fields from goldmine are inserted there is a feature when right clicking the left grayed corner of the report and selecting format sections. Inside, highlight the details section and check the NEW PAGE AFTER. this should do the trick.
