GoldMine API - Anybody use it for Projects/Opportunities

Hi,

I have a need to add contacts to GoldMine backend using the API.
This works fine.

Next, I need to add a project.
Finally, I need to add those new contacts to the Project.

I can find no documentation on Projects or Opportunities using the GoldMine API.

Has anyone done this?
Are these features available in the API?
If possible any samples or links to documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Note: I have the API manual for 5.5 and the Addendum for GM 6. It makes no mention of Projects
