Hi all,

I have an application that imports a contacts csv file into Goldmine. I'm using GM5S32.DLL API. When importing the accented characters are not stored correctly in the MSSQL database. I've tried to set LANDDRIVER. Any suggestions?
Many thanks,

Alberto Pereira.

Search your input before writing it to GoldMine for their chr() value, remove them and then rebuild your input adding them by their chr() value again.

This keeps the input from concatonating the characters as values

Hello,

The problem was that the Native SQL Server Driver does not seems to handle accentued characters. Instead of using the native driver i changed to the ODBC driver (in BDE Administrator) and now everything works ok!

Thanks all,
Alberto Pereira.
