I asked the owner to get Crystal Reports 8.5 - He comes back with version 10. So, for the record, does version 10 integrate with Goldmine 6.5 as simply (or at all) as version 8.5? I am not a programmer, however I am quite computer saavy and if I am going to have to be the one to learn Crystal Reports and implement it into the system, them I at least want it to be compatible with our CRM.

For the most part -- about 99.9% of the time -- any version of crystal works with any database. The only real exceptions are if the author of the software database such as goldmine have purposely made it difficult to access the data. ODBC is nothng new and this is primarily what Crystal uses and has for 10 years.

Newer versions of crystal will get you different functions, but thats it.

Cranky,

As long as you have the correct Crystal DLLs in the GoldMine directory you'll be fine.

Richard.
