Dear All,

We have a user running Windows XP and GoldMine 5.5. Our user is trying to install the Crystal reports link to his machine, but each time he runs the exe file it gets to the point where it asks where you want to install the reports to, and then throws up the following error - Not a vaild directory name. We are using Crystal Reports 6 - does anyone know if this isn't compatible with Windows XP?

Thanks
Chris

Hard to say. CR V6 is very old technology, at least 5 or 6 years old. If you cannot get this to work on ANY XP workstation I would say there is an issue there. Software Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

Your right dgillz, CR6 probably isn't going to work on XP. I would suggest using CR8.0 or higher...
