Hello,

I have been recieving an email with attachment like everyday and I am guessing that it has a virus in its attachement. I think it uses my address book or someone else's address book to spread. because it comes with names that I know. The attachment itself is called "Gold Fish." I delete it as soon as it arrives in my inbox. Now I wanna know if anyone has a clue how to stop recieving this email?

Sophos says Goldfish is likely YaHa.E and so any email addresses are likely mis-directions.

"The email sent by the worm is highly variable and may contain a spoofed "From" field meaning that the source of the email as displayed by the user's email client is not necessarily the email's genuine origin."

In English that is "Don't hassle the FROM address, you would just be adding to misery."

Don't hassle the FROM ISP either, they also had nothing to do with it.

Just be glad you did not open it and delete it like any other spam.

You did not open it, did you? If so go to yfav (your favorite av vendor) like Sophos or F-Secure and pick up a disinfector.
