GOIP 8

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone out there has coma across a GOIP 8 GSM unit. Its a multi sim unit that connects to SIP based phone systems. It works well but I have one small issue.

If we call a telephone number that has either been disconnected or is invalid we get a busy tone. We need to be able to hear that the number is invalid to prevent the number being called again. (the solution is in an outbound call center). The SIP pbx is working fine as we also have an number of FXO's that we use and they pass on the invalid tone/message

Can't seem to find any info out there in reltion to this fault so if anybody knows even a smigen...please let me know!!

Wireshark the traffic and see what SIP messages it sends back. You may need to convert the error response to one your PBX knows.
It's a pretty common issue and often you have to fudge some sort of compromise.
