going to url causes browser to freeze

can anyone get to

anytime anyone at my company tries to go there, it locks the browser up. ie and netscape. we've gone there in the past. i can't get a response from the tech contact listed on whois. what can this be? i've never heard of anything like it. you type in the url, hit enter or go or whatever and the browser just locks up. any ideas?

see, we can't even get "page cannot be displayed". just about a second or 2 after hitting enter, it totally locks up

I don't really think that it's an issue.
Their site is not up.
I'd wait until you can confirm that it IS up and running, then see if there is even a need for diagnostics on your end.

i agree. obviously there's something up on their end. but how could their bad site (that won't even load to execute code) lock my browser?
