We need to change to native mode, but I have a few concerns. We have 27 win2k DC, but we also have 20 NT 4.0 Member servers. I don't think that they will be affected, but I would like to know for sure.

Also, will our remaining win9x clients be affected? Do I have to install the AD patch for win9x?

Thanks,
Raid99

If you still have NT4 Servers in your network don't goto Native.

There is a Add-on on the 2000 Server CD to allow 9x computers to participate in Active Directory.

As long as you install the Active Directory Client Extensions patch on all of your NT member servers and your Win9x systems, you should be able to go into native mode with no real problems. The only thing that would keep you from making that move would be if you had any NT domain controllers still hanging around.
