Hi, I am going to use Symantec Ghost to backup a hard drive that has compressed folders on it (WinXP). Will I have any problems backing up because of the compressed folders?

Cheers.

Not as far as I am concerned. You can create a ghost image and check your compressed files in the image first.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Yes it is version 9 of Ghost that I have.

Compressed" as in Windows NTFS, or as in "Zipped"? Since it is ver 9, you can check the Ghost log from within Windows (older versions, you had to run from DOS to do anything with Ghost).
