I maintain a Merlin Legend 5.0 with a Merlin Legend 6 port mail. The Legend system is on night service all the time, 24/7. However, every time I go into it remotely, to do any translation changes (I call in and have the AA transfer me to any station and then have them transfer me to "*10") the console switches to day mode and starts ringing on incoming calls instead of having the AA answer all calls. This happens EVERY time, not just once in a while and is beginning to upset (understandably) the customer. It does not happen under any other circumstances (that I can find). What can I do to prevent this?

I just found that I have a 2nd Legend (this time with a NVM 203 VM) that does the same thing when I dial into it to do changes. This Legend is a 4.2 Any ideas??

Night service "toggles" when you change night service "things" and/or the time in the system.

Are you doing any of that?

As an add-on thought to merlinman's post, he mentions that changing the time in the system may be a cause. If this is so, do you have your winspm set to automatically update the phone system time and date?

I'll bet that's it. I do have WinSPM set up to automatically update the time and date when I log in. I'll change that right now. Thanks.
