Hi,

I have created two new users in server management and in active directory and neither of them are showing up in the gobal address list. They can log on send and receive emails via webmail but they can't find there name when check name in outlook to set up the account. Any ideas cheers Rachel

You are probbly using Outlook in Cached mode. Turn off cached mode and you will see they are there. Cached mode uses the Offlien Address Book. You will need to rebuild the Offline Address book from within Exchange System Manager. Following a rebuild it will still take between 24-48 hours for the names to show up. You can sometimes speed this up by forcing your workstation to download the OAB.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
