Go to specific Record based on date

Hello, I have a form (frm_ShiftDay) that has a date field [ShiftDate]. I want to create my own text box "txtSearchDate" and a button "cmdSearch" and have it go back to the date from the entry in the text box. The only problem is there are two records created for one date so I figure it would go to either one it doesn't matter. How can I do this?
