GNOME/KDE in SGI

If anyone out there knows how to configure Gnome or Kde under IRIX, please tell me about it.

Someone else asked about this. I managed to get Gnome running in a VNC server session, viewable on a Linux box. SGI Freeware (

http://freeware.sgi.com)

has the inst images for Gnome, but not for KDE. It's just a matter of downloading and installing all of the requisite images (let me tell you, there are quite a few of them, too...).
