I have been using the GN Netcom wireless headsets with my M series sets and they work great. Can I use these sets or the T series with out using the handset lifter?

I have a client who wants to use this this two receptionists but the lifting and lower of the lifter between each call will take to long. Can the headset button be used to turn on and off the headset?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Should work, the Plantronics work well on the M or T series, so GN will do fine. If the lifter is to slow, don't use the lifter and have them answer by pressing the ear peace or the actual line button.

I assume that they can hang up while still having the headset ready to answer by pressing the RLS button to clear the calls. Would that sound correct?

Just press Rls to hang up, also if it's a ringing phone just press the handsfree to answer a call.

so for example while idle, and then a call comes in they can just touch the ringing button and be connected without doing anything else?

With just the headset and no lifter attached, just press the handsfree button ( if it's assigned to ring on incoming calls), or you can press the ringing line button, but by pressing the headset button you don't have to look to see what line is ringing.
