Having some issues with Goldmine TAPI link.
We use Avaya IP office with phone manager on each client PC. Avaya users use a virtual extension, so when they log into Avaya phone manager, they select the physical extension they are sat at. Each user has a different user name (you don't say!).
GMTAPI seems to work at machine level NOT profile level and can only work with ONE set of criteria i.e. if i log into phone system as userA, log out, then restart and log back in as userB, tapi will retain userA settings.
This screws our ability to dial through Goldmine as the TAPI and User are not in synch.
The "Use Registry to store settings" option on TAPILink Advanced tab is supposed to overcome.
Anyone have any experience of working with this multi user environment?
The workaround is to employ generic logins on the phone system, but this is not good for management information reporting.
