All,
Just ran into this today, but voicemail to email using GMAIL works now, at least with R9 VMPRO (which supports tls/ssl now)
Using smtp.gmail.com, port 465, and your gmail address, you can send messages. You *DO* however need to setup an "application specific password" in your gmail account if you're using 2 factor authentication, WHICH YOU SHOULD BE DOING!!! So you don't use your normal gmail password, it'll generate something like EIJG IJDH DKKA IUWO to use.
No need for hmail or iis to relay now.
