Hoi,

How to select or change the email application programme ?
I like to use Gmail (I have an account) for sending mails from in access ?

Is this in your configuration settings in Windows or can you do this with access ? These email client, gmail is webbased.

Code:
Set objOutlook = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can do this the way you want to unfortunately.

How about you link your Gmail account to Outlook (have a look here for information) and then use Outlook automation to send it?

Hope this helps

SendObject should use the default client. Can you make gmail the default in Control Panel | Internet Options | Programs?
