I have a 500 with latest 4.2 and no voicemail at all, this is just a stand alone switch for a call center.
What they want to know is if any trunks go up or down.
I have setup the SMTP with a GMail account but everytime I get errors when it trys to send out the email.
I have tried ports 25, 465, 587.

Anyone had luck with doing this??

Thanks

Did you try to untick "Server Requires Authentication:"?

Are your "ip route" settings filled in correct?

I have the IP routes setup, I also plugged in my DNS settings on the System tab and tried all 0's and my gateway IP.
Still no go.
I opened a case but they have yet to get back with me.?

I ran into this problem a couple of months ago.
I didn't find a solution.

GMAIL requires StartTLS.
Outlook calls this SSL.
This uses port 487 or 587 depending on the mail client.

The IPO doesn't support this.

It may be possible to setup a relay so the IPO sends mail to the relay, the relay sends this mail to GMAIL.
