I'm currently using a networked version of GoldMine 6.7 and have installed Gismo in Outlook so that emails from Outlook can be linked to records in GoldMine.
Whenever I open Outlook a GoldMine SQL Login screen appears asking for the SQL database credentials to be entered. I type in the user name and password and I tick the option Save the SQL database credentials to GoldMine & I am able to use the GM link facility in Outlook. However once I close Outlook and reopen it the above SQL login screen appears again & I have to go through the logon procedure again.
In GoldMine I have checked under File/Configure/User Settings/Properties and within the Access tab the SQL password and Logon fields have been entered correctly. Also in Outlook, under Tools/Options I have clicked on the GM Link tab and ensured that the correct GM user name and password are entered.
Any ideas?
