GM Premium not populating Excel

I have been using gold mine to fill out forms in Word for 15 years...but never used it for Excel. I now am forced to and even though I inserted the macros in to the excel document...they wont populate I have GM Premium 2015.2.0.173 Dec 10 2015

I am thinking the Excel is locked. Could that be the problem???
