I need to rollout 5 new filters for each of my 60 GMFO 5.5 users. Each set of filters will be exactly the same across the user base. 2 of the filters in each set will need some user-specific customisations but if there is a way I can create the majority of the filters once and roll them out to each user without having to create each filter for each user manually, I could save a serious amount of time.

Can I use Public as a filter template? How would I distribute copies to each user?

There are several ways. Public would be good and actually everyone could just access them there. Or you can use the Preview tab to copy them to a new user. Also, you can go into the Filter properties, select dbase expr. and you can copy and past the expression from one filter to another, then click the edit expression button to edit/modify the expression on the new filter. Use this method to create them, then preview/save to duplicate is the easiest. Hope you haven't died of old age waiting for a response. Dave
