GM Error code 39:39

Recently, whenever I try to run a pack and rebuild on GM 5.5/Dbase that includes the log files I get the following error;

Index does not exist
Invalid descriptor

Context: index Table
x:\gmbase\GSLogs.mdx
BDE error cat. code 39:39
DBE: 500 [21/6/1999] Goldmine 5.50.10424

User: xx

Details:
x:\gmbase\GSLogs.mdx

I corrected 2 other errors to the syslog.mdx, but this one keeps popping up.

Hi

After performing a backup try re-indexing the GSLogs table individually, sometimes this is more effective than maintaining the whole database.

Select Maintenance as usual but select Individual Files and place a tick in System Logs. Do Not place a tick in Re-build and Pack - this will re-index the database.
