Glyphs and Icons?

Can I use any *.bmp file for these components or are there specialized files that I have to use? If they are specialized, can anybody suggest where I can go to find some? Thanks! Leslie

Glyphs are normal bitmaps, usually twice as wide as they are tall. This is because the enabled and disabled versions of the image sit side by side in a single bitmap.
When only the enabled version of the image is stored in the bitmap, then you need to set the button's numglyphs property to 1 so that it shows more tnan half of the image.
Icons are a more complex format, much more popular in VB but they do have uses in Delphi.
