Hi,

Well, the title of my post basically says is all - I want to globally limit the number of rows returned in ReportNet and cannot seem to find where this is done.
I know that it can be cone on a per report basis but I'd like to control it globally from one place.
Any one done this yet?

TIA

Hi,

In Framework Manager, go to the Project option on the menubar, and use the 'edit governors' selection. In here you can define governor restrictions on various things, including on the number of rows returned by a report.

Re-publish each of your packages, and each package then inherits the governor restrictions you have defined. Any existing reports based on these packages and of course all new reports will now pick up your limitation.

Hope this helps,

MF.
