I'm working on a large Word 2000 document and I need to apply a shadow border to all graphics. Is it possible to do this in one fell-swoop?

Thanks,
-Jeff

If it's a once and done, this might be easy enough for you to do and will certainly save tons of time.

Two choices:

Use the F4 key.

Ctrl-f to Find and type ^g in the find field and hit find next. This should find and select the next graphic. Hit Format-Borders and Shading and apply the shadow. Hit right arrow, hit ctrl-f, hit enter, hit F4 key on next graphic, which should repeat the format you put on the previous one.

Record a macro.

Record the steps above (though someone could create you some code, you might find it quicker to just do this) as a macro that's run by a toolbar button. Do, say, two graphics and stop recording. Then just run the macro over and over until all your graphics are done. If you dont' know how to record a macro, you can email me--I've got the directions all written out--not difficult at all. Remind me what you're emailing about though.

Thanks...I was afraid it wasn't going to be that simple.
