Global workflow: workflow with sessions over more folders

Hi,

I have a repository with about 10 folders in it. In these folder I have made mappings. Most folders contain about 3 mappings. And I have made a session and a workflow for each separate mapping.

But now I want to make a global workflow. In this global workflow I want to execute every session (every mapping) after each other.

Is this possible? I don't think that this is possible, because I can only seem to make a workflow with sessions that are in the same folder as that workflow. So I hope this is possible in some way... I hope you can help me.

Example:

This is the folder-structure in workflow manager:
Folder Products
sessions
prod_mapping1
prod_mapping2
workflows
w_prod_mapping1
w_prod_mapping2
Folder Regions
sessions
reg_mapping1
reg_mapping2
workflows
w_reg_mapping1
w_reg_mapping2
Folder Global
sessions
workflows

I want to execute prod_mapping1 and directly after that reg_mapping1 and then prod_mapping2 and then reg_mapping2. I want to put these in one workflow. Is this possible or not? How is this possible?

You might consider putting all mappings for a single project in one folder. It can get a little crowded, but there's no direct way to run workflows that span folders.

There is a way using the PMCmd command line program to kick off each workflow - but you'll still have to have an entry for each workflow you want to run. Check out the command task. You can put multiple commands in one. See help for the options to use in PMCmd.
