Global VPN not connecting

I'm trying to setup SonicWall Global VPN client. When I forst setup the connection it asks for the pre-shared key username password and then it connects. The next time I enable the connection it doesn't connect or prompt for the username password, the status just changes to enabled.

I tested another workstation and the only time i can recreate this problem is when i go into properties and uncheck the box for "Immediatly establish security when connection is enabled."

but this option is checked in the problem PC, i've tried to delete the connection and recreate it, also have tried to reinstall the client.

Any suggestions?
 
What firmware ver. are you running?

If OS standard, in VPN settings click on the client tab and set

Cache XAUTH User Name and Password on Client: NEVER
