Global variable on 1 asp page

I am trying to pass a value to a VB script subroutine. The issue is I am retreiving the value from Showopen routine of Common Dialog control.

The flow is vb scsript that calls an Activex component. Then I am asked what drive?

When I return to the module the info. I can't think of a good way to pass the vallue to the vb script subroutine..

Is this possible? If so what is the best method.

I have a question ?
I tried to open with Showopen and it says
"The common dialog function failed during initialisation. This error often occurs when insufficient memory is available"

and I have 90MBs available of 256

I run on w2000 server
Can this be the problem ?
on my pc at home it works fine...

what is your operating system ?
