I am writing an application (In Excel)and I want to be able to track what keys are being pressed form outside my application, so for examplle the user loads up the application, then uses another applicaition and presses CTRL + SHIFT + G Now I want to run a method in my applicaition so for example cmdAdd_Click whenever they press that, regardless of what applicaiton they are in

Any ideas?

Or you could look on this very site and find we cracked this one over a year before codeguru in thread222-118564 (and has the advantage of not being rewritten for .NET)

We also had a version that even works on the aging 16-bit OSs as well, albeit with a performance hit: thread222-775642
