global file path for various images on various buttons 1

Hello

I've got a rather massive pb 11.5 project that was just assigned to me. It has quite a lot of image buttons(close to 1400) on quite a lot of data windows. Now my problem is this the file path(on the general properties tab) for each of these images is just the file name (ex. about.gif)what I need to figure out is is there some way to set a global value so all of these buttons know to look in the resources folder that has all of the images or do I have to go through and specifically point each of them towards the correct folder. Also it looks like the way the project was set up each .pbl file is in it's own folder not sure if this would affect anything or not.

There usually would be at least one .pbr file (powerebuilder resource file) for the application (and perhaps even one per .pbl) which lists the image files. This allows the build process to insert the images into the exe/pbd files when the application is built. If you don't have this type of file you must make sure your system path includes the location of the image files (and in any case you need the development pc to have this in its path to see the images when you run from within PB).

You should not hard code the path to the files in the general properties tab.

Thanks for the assistance. There was in fact a pbr file buried in among the images. and pointing pb at it seems to have resolved the issue.
