In our organization, earlier we were using Exchange Server, but now we are connecting to a POP3 e-mail server to download our emails. We are using Outlook 2003 as email client. We created accounts by selecting POP3 as server type. In Internet E-mail Settings (POP3), we filled name, e-mail address, incoming mail server, outgoing mail server, user name, password, checked Remember password. In More Settings -> Outgoing server, we checked; My outgoing server requires authentication.

Earlier, when we had Exchange Server, we had a Global Address List containing email list of our domain. Can we create this same Global Address List in the new POP3 scenario?

That is a very big kettle off fish and you have taken quite a few steps back in the way of fucntionality,

The GAL will have to be set up by your ISP or whover is handling your mail,

what i would do is reinstate exchange and either use Pop3 Collector for Exchange or get back on a SMTP feed.

You can't have a GAL without Exchange. The fact that you went completely backwards means you've lost all of that functionality.

POP3 is an antiquated method that's suited for home users. Not business users.

As Mintsauceuk said, you'd be better off going forward to Exchange.
